Welcome! You are invited to the annual NZAMH Conference and AGM – the NZAMH event of the year! This year we are really excited to be having conference at the stunning Hamilton Gardens. Come along and explore the award winning gardens while meeting new and old friends, pondering on the amazing clinical pearls you’ve just learned or just simply sit and ‘be’ with Nature.
Conference is a time when herbalists, natural health practitioners and students, and those interested in herbal medicine come together to celebrate herbal medicine. It is a time to learn, share and celebrate our healing relationship with the plant world. We have some amazing speakers coming from around New Zealand as well as guest speakers coming from overseas. We look forward to seeing you!

This Years Venue
The 2017 Conference and AGM is being held at the award winning Hamilton Gardens Hamilton, New Zealand.
For those further away, nearby Hamilton Airport is easily accessible to the gardens & city centre. However, for those choosing to fly from Auckland airport, it is only 90 minutes by public transport, with a nonstop Intercity service for a flat rate fee of $20 each way.
There are plenty of places to stay for a variety of budgets and a bus service from the central city is available to within a few minutes walk of the gardens.
For those wishing to arrive a little earlier, we have organised an afternoon garden tour on Friday afternoon, we hope you can join us!

Registrations close 20st May 2017. Due to the need to confirm numbers for the venue, no registrations will be accepted after this date. There will be no refunds for cancellations received after this date.
Costs include morning and afternoon teas, tea and coffee and lunch. Cost for the Saturday night dinner is extra; it includes entertainment and some liquid refreshments.
CONTINUING PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION:
Attendance at the Conference and AGM provides 10 CPE Points per day, a maximum of 20 CPE Points for the event.
Costs do not include accommodation, however accommodation is available near the venue. To assist with planning, some suggestions of places to stay close to the gardens include the Albert Court Motel & Aspen Manor Motel situated on Grey Street, or if you prefer something in the centre then there is a large selection of accommodation options, including the affordable Sudima Hotel on Victoria Street, or Ventura Inn & Suites on Clarence St. Check www.wotif.co.nz or www.agoda.co.nz for details. Also www.airbnb.co.nz offers a wide selection with prices starting from $54 for an ensuite room that is walking distance to gardens. But as they say early bird gets the worm, so don’t delay your travel plans.

2:30pm Garden tour & afternoon tea [minimum 10 people]
Join us for a tour at Hamilton’s award winning themed gardens to familiarise yourself prior to conference and discover their history and the vision behind their creation. Enjoy afternoon tea in the cafe afterwards with Gus Flower, gardens operations manager, who can assist with any technical questions you might have.
(This garden tour is an optional extra – $22.50. Bookings essential)

For those using public transport the number 10 bus leaves central Hamilton, stopping on Naylor St. that is again only a short walk to the gardens.
Remember, for those travelling to Auckland airport that Intercity offers a nonstop service to Hamilton for a flat rate fee of $20.
